Building and grounds custodian

We believe that the facilities are one of the first things that make an impression on all people who come to our church. Our goal is to remove as many distractions from ministry and community as possible.

We are looking for a hardworking, responsible custodian and grounds worker with attention to detail and self-management skills. The person in this role is responsible for cleaning and preparation of the inside facilities, as well as lawn care and maintenance. This role is intended to prepare the building for main service times on Wednesday nights and Sunday morning worship. No experience required, we will provide training for any and all tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Restocking paper products
• Trash removal
• Ordering needed supplies
• Maintain lawns through mowing, weed eating, pulling weeds, blowing leaves etc. (all equipment provided)
• Other miscellaneous, light cleaning tasks

Skills

Applicants should possess skills in:

• Self-management
• Solid work ethic
• Attention to detail
• No experience required

Hours

This is a Part time position (20 hrs./week)

Pay

$10-$15/hr.  Pay based on variety of factors such as experience and self-management. Raises available.

Schedule

Schedule is flexible to applicant’s needs. Church facilities must be ready for two weekly services. (Wednesday night and Sunday morning)
